Consider Donating Today!
At the Garden State Cat Club, we support our feline friends! If you would like to help us in our endeavors, please email our treasurer to contribute.
GSCC
Is a non-profit group of dedicated individuals. Some of us are cat owners, some are members of rescue groups and some are breeders of pedigreed cats. But we all share one thing in common - we all love cats!
Our Mission
The Garden State Cat Club, first organized in 1936, is the third oldest cat club that is CFA-affiliated. (The Cat Fanciers’ Association, CFA, is the largest, international registry of pedigreed cats.) The objectives of our club are:
To promote the welfare of all cats.
To create interest in, and knowledge of cats by the staging of shows, seminars, educational presentations and interaction with the public and other organizations having similar objectives.
To cooperate with and provide financial support to feline research and welfare facilities.
To encourage proper care and responsible ownership of all cats.
To encourage and cultivate friendships through social and cat show-related activities
The club contributes to animal welfare and feline health organizations as funds permit. We also monitor legislative issues that may impact on pet ownership and the breeding of pedigree cats.
If you are interested in learning more about membership in our club, as well as our meetings, please visit our Club News page. An online membership application is also available there.
